Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our bakery, Beverly Hills Cookies! In this role, you will welcome customers into the cookie/coffee shop and prepare their orders. Your goal is to ensure customers enjoy their experience at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about cookies& coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

- is available to work evening shifts and weekends (required)
- has barista experience (preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude)
- loves providing exceptional customer service

Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the shop with a smile
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
